This training provides HQ RIO staff with foundational skills in customer service. Staff will learn ways to interact positively with individuals of every personality type, how to employ communication best practices (including active listening and empathy) to resolve issues, and how to manage some of the more challenging interactions they may encounter. The course also discusses tips for avoiding burnout when performing a service role.
This training provides incoming Headquarters (HQ) RIO staff an orientation to their role at HQ RIO. Incoming staff will learn about HQ RIO's mission and vision and will be informed about important policies, procedures and programs as they orient themselves to their new role. This course will provide incoming staff the tools they need to onboard successfully.
This training includes standardized training for Orders Writing Cell (OWC) orders writers to process the three most common types of orders requests end-to-end. Resources and processes for less common orders types will be discussed in brief.
This course provides information on how to combine member travel documents into a portfolio and review those files to ensure required information and approvals are provided. Technicians will use these documents to record a member’s travel orders, log a claim and compute the member’s travel in RTS, which enables the member to be reimbursed in a timely manner.
